FALSE ADVERTISING...like there's no tomorrow
Check out THIS LINK for the real comments going on. You can pick your side, but be warned. Lies aren't justified until there is proof. We have proof. [link]
Her "name" is Kim Billings or Kim Drydale. She has many different user names and email addresses.
She sends photos of "her work" and has a website (full of stolen images except for a few images of a coyote and bobcat that she did for my mother). She makes them look "alright" in photos, because as we all know, we can make even poorly done mounts look presentable in photographs. However, beware for when you receive her REAL work in person, it is NOTHING like that of in the photos of her so called portfolio. I have taken tons of photographs of her ACTUAL work on both my family's coyote and bobcat, and let me tell you-- the flaws are incredible.
The faces are off, eyes are at odd angles, lips aren't even painted properly, neither are the noses. Wire was added because she said she knew about poseable mounts, but the wire is STICKING OUT of the paws, and the wire is also RUSTY! I have photos of the poor stitches she sewed on the pelt. She messed up the faces, and now the pelt has slips and cuts, you can see her trying to hide the damage with some glue clay. Again, I have more photos of all of these problems UP CLOSE to prove what her work is ACTUALLY like.
In the far away photos I have posted on DA, yes they look nice because they aren't up close!
Kim told me to sell the animals instead of keep them in order so she wouldn't have to have a case opened up on her through paypal. She claims to be a 38 year old woman with 10 years of taxidermy credentials. She says she has a taxidermy certificate. She sent my mother a poor document that expired LAST YEAR June 30, 2011 and claimed that "taxidermy certificates" only come out in June.
She is a young girl who is just playing with other people's animal pelts and should be stopped.
Her business is called White Cloud Taxidermy, but her name for the shop in short is wcctaxidermy-- so what is the extra "c" for?
Kim Billings also sells on ebay, her services for making soft mounts. LOOK AT HER SELLING HISTORY. It may say "100%" but look at her past sales. ALL SALES were nothing to do with taxidermy. All sales were about random items, and feather hair extensions. Her photos she originally used were from other DA users. She said they were HER work.
She used Zhons bobcat image, and she used LeopardPaws's coyote image in her listings, claiming the work was hers, and after she was contacted by AtFirstPlush and Zhon, she removed the two images, started playing dumb, and is now threatening me and my family.
My family is very upset with Kim Billings.
You can believe her if you want to, that she's "for real" but just get her services made on your animals and see how they turn out. I truly and honestly DARE YOU. Do not do this unless you want to waste money and ruin your pelts.
Here is her DA name, she will most likely switch now that she is stalking me and my family every way that she can and threatening us through messages. [link]
You will see she is new to DA and has no photos posted, no REAL proof. She sends a photo of a sign with a phone number of White Cloud Taxidermy but no real current documents or real photos. No photos of herself or anything. She will not answer questions about herself, and if she does she lies about them. I'm here to stick up for myself and my mother who got sucked into this mess with Kimberly Billings.
Here is her ebay name: WhiteCloudTaxidermy
Here is the link of her trying to sell her services: [link]
And let me tell you, she goes back and forth and DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT. As real truly credited taxidermists on DA who have photos of all of there work. Such as Zhon, AtFirstPlush, LilMissDoeEyes, or even NorthwoodTaxidermy. All of these users have been doing this the RIGHT way and have proof to give you services. I'm sure Kim will be smart and look up all the terms to sound like a professional, but beware. Once you turn your back on her and say something such as "are you a real taxidermist" she will snap and be rude to you. She will change the way she writes to you, say mean things to you and use lingo that a very young teenager would.
Kim Billings loves to change the situation around because she does not want to get caught. I'm sick of her taking people's money. She acts kind but it's an act. Ask my mom, ask me!
My mom used my email to contact her because I know a lot more about taxidermy than my mother does and I was trying to help my mom out, so I have EVERY email sent from Kim Billings and her inconsistent words and answers. She is contradicting of herself. She says soft mounts can not be poseable, but then her ebay ad says she can make them poseable. Now she is attacking our family's posts on taxidermy.net and having people who she's gotten on her side to vouch for her, saying she is a real taxidermist. PLEASE PEOPLE, I am trying to do you a FAVOR and save you the hassle of losing your money like we've lost ours!
Beware! Kim Billings is a scam artist, a very bad scam artist...so bad that she's good at scamming. WATCH OUT!!!
HERE IS A COPY OF WHAT SHE SENT MY MOM AND I IN EMAIL, saying that Nightweaver (the name Kim Billings may be using on taxidermy.net--or has a friend to copy and paste what she wants to say on there)
"It's a wonderful thing called knowing your **** if you can't tell if a pelt is mountable SAY YOU DON'T KNOW IF IT IS. Don't claim it's mountable if you have little clue on what you're doing.
Let alone trying to get a paypal refund AND sell the mount? No way can you have your cake and eat it too. White cloud can use this board, your DA pagr and your emails as proof.
I had a sinking feeling when I first saw you here and on DA there was going to be an issue somewhere along the way, you seem to be the atypical person just interested in taxidermy as a status symbol or photo prop for your cosplays, nothing more. No care about rigid or traditional taxidermy, nope, all about the plushies. It's a crying same.
You're coming off as someone who doesn't know how to do business, on DA you comment saying you want to buy mounts and pelts from people and then you flake out. Then whine when people sell the stuff under you to someone who has their crap together and is serious on buying it. This just prooves that you don't want to learn about taxidermy, you just want plushies for a look what I got mentality. Then blame the taxidermist for the job? Her plushies are WONDERFUL, her prices are VERY reasonable since most don't do plushies for under $140, if you can't cope with paying $110 then forget about getting decent work, especially if you can't provide a mountable pelt you're going to get junk no matter how great the artist and if you don't buy replacement parts because you're too cheap? No.
White Cloud has sent me MANY examples, she's not a shoddy worker, you should be happy you even got that good of a mount out of a crappy pelt. She worked with what you gave her to make you, the customer, happy. And on DA, you made little qualm about it, heck, tried to dazzle everyone into buying it. Never said jack diddly about being unhappy with the work, you just said you needed money."

A lot of people think on taxidermy.net that my mom and I are trying to rip others off, but we were just trying to make an honest post. I get that a lot of people think of me as being stupid and not worth their time, but please this is real and you need to see the evidence that I have.
The bobcat pelt was very expensive and was not a wallhanger pelt. I am trying to get the same amount for it that my mom and I paid for. How is that wrong?
Please know that this is FROM KIM BILLINGS writing about herself and then switching her tone. Notice how she talks to me like she doesn't know me and Kim Billings, aka White Cloud, is her friend...then she talks to ME directly and announces a situation that only Kim Billings would know about and talk about in first person. She stalks everything I do on DA, on any other site probably. I'm glad I told my mom to stay out of this because my mom has health issues and can't take this type of B.S.
We paid $300 to have the pelts made into a soft mount. I personally should have warned my mom about this.
I care about photography, yes! But I take taxidermy very seriously and I've been learning. I do not want to do taxidermy myself however.
I have a lot of proof directly from Kim Billings how she is a scammer. I will post more when I have more time. Please, watch out for yourself. I don't want anyone ending up in the situation I was in.
Here is a note from Nightweaver, on taxi.net. I realize she is not Kim Billings and I apologize for my mistake. But here is what she wrote:
"I would also like to point out, White Creek charges $110-170 for her services, in this case it was $140 for a bobcat.
If you paid over $200 for a wallhanger bobcat... Go back to the sandbox honey, leave buying pelts to the real taxidermists.
Math= not adding up. You say it's a mere fraction of what you paid, how the hell much did you pay? Because I can find a mountable bobcat for $130 FULLY MOUNTABLE. No problems at all, no enlarged eyes, stretched earsand leather riddled with holes.
In my opinion, for as crappy as the pelt was, the only thing that looks "horrible" is the ears and that's no fault of white creeks. The eyes are well considering they look blown to hell on the pelt, again, not her fault.
You can put diamonds on doo doo, but it's still a piece of ****, you gave her crap to work with, there is only so much the woman could do with the damn ratter tattered thing. In essence it's your fault."
Please let it be known that I bought my pelts from respectable people. The coyote was not a wallhanger and was bought from AdarkerNEMESIS and it was fully mountable. So please, do not tell me the reason the mounts came out wrong was because I can't tell the difference between a wallhanger and a mountable pelt. I know that like any one else would.
I should have known that a real taxidermist usually charges $150 for only the head to be mounted and more for the stuffing etc.
I am not using these animals as toys. I have other traditional taxidermy mounts in my collection. I have two gray foxes, a baby raccoon, and two squirrels. I know they must be taken good care of, and these were my family's first transaction on trying to get soft mounts.
